Besides swimming and lying on the rocks, visitors can stroll around, go cycling, camp out, and of course eat at the restaurant, which serves up delicacies like stewed queen termites with medicinal herbs, roast or grilled boar meat, rice in bamboo, and jar wine. They can also try crocodile dishes.
Admission to Yang Bay Resort is VND30,000 (US$1.70) for adults and free for children under six, while an all-services-included tour ticket costs VND210,000 ($12).
To get to Yang Bay from Nha Trang, drive about 40 kilometers west from Tay Khanh Vinh, turn into the three-way Cau River intersection, make a left and continue for 14 more kilometers.
Every day, a bus from the Khatoco-Yang Bay Hotel in Nha Trang departs for Yang Bay at 8 a.m. and arrives back at the hotel at 4 p.m., but it’s only for holders of the resort’s tour tickets. |
