Morning excursion to CuChi - a fabulous tunnel. You will have an opportunity to get the unique experience of guerillas living and fighting underground during the war (a crawl through 50 - 100 meters out 200 km of the tunnel system is unforgettable). Local rice paper workshops, nice paddy fields are pleasant sights on the way.

Then we continue to TayNinh, visit the Great CaoDai temple (a mixture of Buddhism, Confucius, Taoism, Hinduism and Christian). We see the noon mass at the temple (~one hour), and time to explore the God's images inside and outside the temple. Afternoon come back to HCM city. .[more]

Leave Ho Chi Minh City by road for Phan Thiet. The scenic 200km drive north on Highway One passes through the bustling city of Bien Hoa before cutting through dense rubber plantations. Nearer to Phan Thiet the terrain changes to arid semi-desert with cactus plants and strange looking dragon fruit trees. Arrive in Phan Thiet in the late morning and check into resort.
