After Jetstar cancelled its Da Nang-Ho Chi Minh City 1:30 p.m. flight Sunday, 168 passengers asked the airline for compensation.
At 9 p.m., the manager of the airline office in the central region, Tran Hoang Linh, said, “apart from the ticket refund, we will give each passenger VND200,000 (US$11.4) as ruled by the Ministry of Transport and rent vehicles to transport passengers to catch buses headed south.”
He added that his company was trying to deal with the technical problem as the plane still couldn’t fly last night.
