| Ha Long to open beach carnival |
Get set to enjoy an eight-day carnival at the World Natural Heritage site of Ha Long Bay planned for Saturday, April 25. |
Festivities for the opening ceremony will be held on the beach and on the sea beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Bai Chay Ferry Dock.
There will be a range of business, cultural and sports events aimed to attract tourists to Quang Ninh during the carnival as part of Ha Long Tourism Week 2009. |

An art performance with fireworks called “Night of the Shining Heritage” will wind up the week on closing night, Saturday, May 2.
