Funded by the Trung Viet Joint Stock Company, the village, the first of its kind in the country, is estimated to cost VND 100 billion (US$5.7 million).
In the first phase, scheduled for completion in the next two years, a reception hall, bungalows and sports areas, a restaurant, resort and spa areas and craft villages will be constructed on the total area of 7 hectares.
The second phase will see the upgrade and expansion of the whole project to 30 hectares, encompassing and focusing on high-end bungalows.
Upon completion, the Vietnamese Village resort is expected to offer an attractive tourist destination imbued with Hue style. Tourists who visit the site will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional dishes from the region and stay in period accommodations, which incorporates a uniquely Vietnamese architectural style.
