BinhChau Hot Spring, an attractive destination with hot spa waters and hot mud baths in the fresh air of forest and sea, is offering a 30% discount on room rate and promotional price of VND830,000 per person for a two-day-and-one-night tour and VND1.2 million per person for three-day-and-two-night package.

BinhChau Hot Spring is located about 150 kilometers from HCMC in the southern coastal province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau. It is on 33 hectares and is endowed with forest, sea, springs and cool weather year-round. In August 2003 the World Travel Organization recognized Binh Chau Hot Spring as one of 65 areas of sustainable development of ecotourism of 47 nations around the world, and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has acknowledged it as a four-star resort.

A view of Binh Chau Hot Spring.

At one time there was a giant natural hot spring in the tram forest. Nowadays there is a cluster of 70 visible pools of water varying in temperature from 40 to 82 degrees Celsius. An egg will boil in ten minutes in the 82°C natural wells.

The resort is also famous for its hot mud baths, which world scientists have recommended as one of the best elements for man’s immune system and health recovery. As a result many visitors to the resort take the opportunity to have daily 15 minute hot spa baths and 45 minute mud baths for smoother skin and to reduce chronic diseases, and nervous tension and skin diseases.

There is also a 37C degrees spring called the Hanoi-Hue-Saigon footbath spring for morning and evening footbaths, with the benefits of reducing rheumatism and improving circulation.

In addition to providing traditional physiotherapy, the resort also offers recreation and relaxing activities including fishing, crocodile angling, outdoor excursions on ox-carts and horse-carts, a camp fire in the shade of the primitive forest, a musical dance and singing program at Moonlight Garden and karaoke. For those wanting something more active there is a tennis court, golf driving range, badminton, volley-ball, basket ball, and water volley-ball.

Another interesting feature near the resort is Ho Coc Beach, which is ideal for beach and water sports in the glistening sunlight and cool winds.
