Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant is 76 km away from Ha Noi capital in the West which is the biggest technical construction project of Vietnam in the 20th century, It’s an enormous industrial combination on Da river valley including important items such as: gravelly soil dam, sluice-gate, traffical tunnel system, tunnel, engine apartment, operation department with a capacity of 1,920MW; every year the plant produces 8.4 billion kilowatts in average, making a considerable contribution to the power production of the whole country.
