Along with Thuong Tien Primeval Forest and Phu Canh Natural Reserve, Kia Cave-Pa Co Natural Reserve (Mai Chau) contribute the imposing landscape of the land at the gateway to the NorthWest of Vietnam.
At the height of 1.000 meters above sea level, Hang Kia-Pa Co forest covers the source of streams flowing to the Ma River, via limestone mountains always wrapped in white cloud ribbons, creating a very poetic view. Mainly on stone mountains and partly on earth mountains, the forest here is very rich in natural resources. The inhabitants living around the reserve are chiefly the H’mong with their rather primary customs and manners, slightly affected by the outside. Endowed with favourable natural conditions and a mild climate, this natural reserve had been attracting a large number of tourists from every corner of the world.
