Tourist area is 12 km away from Hoa Binh city in Binh Thanh commune, at the foot of Mo mountain. The village of the Muong ethnic group is over 100 houses that still retain their original forms, activities, water irrigation, rice pounding systems, hunting bows and arbalests, farming methods along with festivals, common practices that attract hundreds of tourists from France, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, etc. to visit every day.

You can call on whichever houses that you wish to and you will be warmly welcomed in those houses-on-stilts. You will enjoy the traditional culture and performances, buy the products made by the hands of the Muong for your souvenirs. More interestingly, by the burning fire, glasses of liquor made from manioc, rice or perhaps a pot of very fragrant Can wine shall be offered, the hosts may play flute, dan bau (monochord instrument), sip liquor, sing songs with you and tell you the mysterious stories and legends of the Muong.
