If you're well-heeled, dive into the swimming pools of plush hotels, or take in a spot of golf at one of several resorts. If you're looking for something a little more authentic, you could try your slow hand at thai cuc quyen , a form of meditative slow-motion boxing.

swimming
If you don't make it to one of Saigon's water parks, there are several fine swimming pools at the more extravagant hotels. You needn't stay at these hotels to swim, but you'll have to pay an admission fee of US$8.00 - US$16.00 per day. Hotels offering access to their pools include the Metropole, Omni, Renaissance Riverside and Rex. There are a number of less-expensive public pools and some of the newer ones are in very good condition. These pools charge by the hour and this works out to be very cheap if you're only staying for a short time.
bowling
Diamond Superbowl is a state-of-the-art, 32-lane bowling alley smack dab in the centre of town. It's very popular with locals, and is notable for having fluorescent bowling balls and computerised scoring. Attached is a large amusement centre with billiards, a video-game arcade and shops.
relaxation
Most upmarket hotels offer some kind of massage service...some more legitimate than others.
golf
If you're serious about golf, there are top-notch courses in both Phan Thiet and Dalat. Visit www.vietnamgolfresorts.com for more information on the courses and reasonably priced golf package tours.
