After the Red Canyon you are brought to the Red Sand Dunes to witness the sun set. If you take the morning tour, you will be brought here first to see the sun rise, and later go to the Red Canyon and White Dunes.
On the Red Dunes you will also find local kids. They will help you get to the top of the dunes for a tip. They also have a fun way to get back down, big cardboards and plastic sheets. You sit on them, and sled down the dunes. Bargain with the kids, because they may have not much education, but they know tourists are "rich".
