Sapa Vietnam hard trekking tour 5 days

Duration: 5 days – 6 nights
Tour route: Hanoi – Lao Cai – Sapa – Tavan – Seo Trung Ho   – Ban Ho  – Sapa - Lao Cai – Hanoi
Brief description:Hard trekking, big adventure to untouched area, private tour, 2 nights on train, 1 hotel night in Sapa town, 2 nights in Seo Trung Ho village with Red DZao people and Ban Ho village with Tay people. 

Detail Itinerary

Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai  by night train

Impress travel’s staff pick you up in the hotel then drive to Hanoi station for a night train to Sapa (overnight on the train, the cabin with 4 berths, soft sleeper and air-conditioning), you can book the whole cabin or you can share with 2 other persons.  There are several train depart from Hanoi station between 7pm to 10pm, the journey is about 8,5 hours, the end in Lao Cai Station.

Day 1: Laocai -  Sa Pa – Ta Van village – Giang Ta Chay – Seo Trung Ho ~ 6 - 7 hours trek (B, L, D)

The train arrives in Lao Cai at 6.30 a.m,  Our Impress team will  welcome you by your name sign. We drive up to Sapa about 50 minutes on Car / Van,  you will be taken to a small guesthouse for a morning showers then your breakfast at a local restaurant here. After breakfast & short morning beak, and then taking a Car / Van  ride to Tavan village of Dzay people, where we start trekking via the trail of  rice terrace & bamboo forest to GiangTaChai village of the Red Dzao minority. Visit silver waterfall and suspension Rattan Bridge, and then through the forests up and down in Fanxipan range then reach Seo Trung Ho village of the Red Dzao. This is an almost untouched village and there are very few tourists getting here. In here, there is a chance to enjoy a most beautiful waterfall in Sapa, which comes from a height of about 70 m. Stay overnight in this village with a Dzao family.

Day 2: SeoTrung Ho - Ta Trung Ho - BanHo Village ~ 17 km trekking in the forests (B, L, D)

Have breakfast with the family, start climbing up to the mountain for another untouched village: Ta Trung Ho village located at about 1450m above the sea level. Picnic lunch at the village and then descend BanHo village to visit a different minority: The Tay people who have houses on stilts. Stay the night at Ban Ho village in a house on stilts. Have dinner with the family.

Day 3: Ban Ho - Thanh Phu - Nam Sai – Nam Cang – Nam Toong – Sa Pa ~3 – 4 hours trek (B, L)

Another new day traveling over and over the scenic mountains and friendly village, breakfast with the Tay people here then we will take about 3 – 4 hours trek to Thanh Phu village and back to Ban Ho at noon for our lunch. Some walk up to the main road and jeep back to Sapa, check in your hotel then you are free to explore and dinner on your own. Sleep in town of Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa – Ham Rong mountain - Lao Cai – Hanoi

Today you are free at leisure, to visit around the town of Sapa (Dragon mount, Orchid garden, Waterfall…) or relax in town and inhale the fresh air. Leave Sapa by jeep in the late afternoon (5.30 p.m.) to Lao Cai station for our night train back to Hanoi. (B)

Day 6 : Hanoi arrival

After 8 hours, you arrive in Hanoi station at 5.30 Am, Impress team will support you to get back your hotel in early morning
